F.R.I.E.N.D.S
It was 1989, when my mom changed me from division C to division B as my class teacher was pregnant. So just that i dont have a mental study break in between the year, i was moved. I cried as i did not wanna seperate from my friends. But i thought who cared, but i was wrong, she only cared about my better.
Anyways, i was clubbed in with a few friends very quickly and some of us became very very good friends. We went to school together and came back together. Studied, played and fought as every other kid. I was in 2nd standard then. But my friends were my friends, and i was very proud of them.
Years went on and we went up higher and higher in grade. Started hanging out outside school, studies together, borrowed notebook when missed school, enjoyed school picnics etc etc. It was so nice to have all of them. But then in 1997, it was our SSC and soon we all realised that its time for us to bid good bye to a few forever. It was tough on everyone of us, as we were probably not prepared to take that challenege. We were still cushioned for each other, and emotions played a mjor part in everyones life. It showed how much we cared for each other, and how much we wanted to stay more in the same school. Together.
I had a few friends, but real good friends. Everyone enrolled in some or the other college for different streams and life changed suddenly. It was no more school. We could miss the lectures and still be ok. Life started playing its own turn now. It just reversed. Untill them life controlled us, but now on it felt as if we controlled life. Seriously, it was freedom.
I still made some new friends but my pool of school friends is still much stronger. We r in touch even today. Not many of us but really a few, and we meet regularly as much as we can.
Since in college, we kept in touch through phone calls and meetings as n when everyone was in town. Many of my friends went out of vasai for studies, but my best one was still there with me. And i made a few more best.
Life rolled and i finished graduation and then it was time to think and do something responsible. I found a well paid job and stuck to it for 3 years. It was such an amazing learning experience. I met so many big personalities of the market. Just amazing for a person of my calibre. After which i decided to think long term and came down to sydney for my further studies. Professional accounting was never going to be easy and away from house was just too much to handle in the beginnning. But life kept on teaching something new everyday and i just got used to this life very soon.
And today i m on the stage of just finishing my studies and i have started thinking of doing something responsible ahead. Many things, many responsibilities and many obligations. Life is all that we can take, and then i say to myself, "Bring em' on".
All this went so quickly with time, but all that kept it all together were my friends, very few, but my. I miss them just next to as much as i miss my family.
Many of my friends will be reading this and i m sure all this is related to our lives somehow. I m sure u ll try and find it and fix it.Just that i would like to mention a very small list of my friends .... but just scared that i might miss some .....
P.S : Above writing just was not on mind, but dont know y i just scribbled today. Pls understand ......

Priya : Yeah its been a good things thing with my pool of friends that we r regularly in touch through mails or even calls to each other.
Thanks to u both for ur kind words.
True, friends are invaluable, your other self. And those school friends fall in special category because that is when our innocent heads got together.
Like they rightly say...you can choose friends....
Hey vaibhav, looks like you are really missing friends these days...

MG : Yes, i m missing everyone more and more as days r passing by. Though i call everyone very regularly, i still miss being away.

there r some great school-mates that I miss so much today...some I still keep in touch with but some others have married n moved to far-away lands...I wonder if they think of me too..
Keshi.
Keshi : its much possible that some friends think of each other but neither steps forward to stay in touch, just extend ur reach and may be u ll find someone on the other side.
Thanks for stopping by ....
